The submitted scientific monograph by Mirosława Jaworowska, entitled Sociology of Security. Selected Issues, is the result of the author’s many years of scientific work on security-related topics. Undoubtedly, this work is, to a significant extent, pioneering in nature The issues presented in the field of the sociology of security – understood as a branch of security studies and sociological research – are still at an early stage of development in Poland.
